This review contains SLIGHT SPOILERS from the episode.
The 4th episode of Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid Season 2 named “When in Rome, do as the Romans do” just dropped and trust me, this is one of the cutest episode of this series till date.
MY THOUGHTS ABOUT
THE PLOT : Everything that people have ever loved about this show had a strong showing in this episode. The comedy was fantastic, the characters got a lot of time to shine, the episode had a significant emotional core, and the side characters all showed up in full force.
THE CHARACTERS : The first half of this episode involved Elma dealing with Miss Kobayashi and Tohru in her charming way. The second half sees the gang go to an adventure park, and hilarity ensues. Some delightful skits and wacky comedy later, you have a perfect Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid episode. The Kanna-Saikawa-Ilulu trio killed it in the episode.
ART AND MUSIC : Again, I have absolutely nothing to say about the animation and music. They were great, of course, but there wasn’t anything special to make a note about. Just some usual fantastic work by Kyoto Animation.
Episode 4 was brilliant. It was cute, funny, sweet, and thought-provoking at the same time, and I had a lot of fun while watching it. If you’re still sleeping on this series, it’s time to wake up.
