BOX OFFICE DESTROYER – DEMON SLAYER’S MUGEN TRAIN

This is a non-spoiler ANIME ONLY Review

QUICK SUMMARY : Tanjiro Kamado, joined with Inosuke Hashibira, a boy raised by boars, and Zenitsu Agatsuma, a scared boy who reveals his true power when he sleeps, board the Infinity Train on a new mission with the Flame Pillar, Kyojuro Rengoku, to defeat a demon who has been tormenting the people and killing the demon slayers who oppose it!

LENGTH : 2 Hours

GENRE : Adventure, Fantasy, Historical, Shounen

MY OPINIONS : It’s a sequel Manga Canon movie to the Demon Slayer anime’s Season 1. It pretty much destroyed the box office with a whopping 500 Million USD collection, that too during the pandemic period and became the highest grossing Anime Movie of all time. The storyline was pretty decent. Characters were sometimes annoying but overall watchable. There were some comedic scenes also, but that were okay-ish. One thing that caught my eye was the character Kyojuro Rengoku’s backstory. It was nicely executed to such extent that me, as a watcher, was able to connect with the character and his family. Fight scenes were also decent, not that much of an eye-catcher. Another GOOD thing about this movie was Ufotable‘s absolutely fluid animations. We all are well known about Ufotable’s potential in animating action sequences. The effects were pretty GOOD to watch. The op “Gurenge” SLAPS. The movie ends with a tearjerker. Tanjiro Kamado’s voice actor did an absolutely stunning job which overall raised the stats of this movie.
