ANIME THAT EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS

This list might contain SLIGHT SPOILERS. Though I’ll try to make it as short and spoiler-free as possible.

Tbh I’m that kind of person who doesn’t have much expectations from any anime or tv series. This kinda helps me in deciding if they’re good or not. This list covers some of those anime that exceeded my expectations.

KAGUYA SAMA : LOVE IS WAR

EXPECTATIONS : 7/10

REALITY : 8.9/10

Probably the best RomCom anime to ever exist no cap. These characters are ELITE. Their comic timing is GOLDEN.

PRISON SCHOOL

EXPECTATIONS : 6/10

REALITY : 7.9/10

The animation, the artstyle, everything is insanely done. Definitely one of the best comedic anime out there.

GRAND BLUE

EXPECTATIONS : 7.5/10

REALITY : 9.1/10

This is PEAK COMEDY. Literally every scene is funny as hell. Animators killed it with this one. The best in this genre.

JUJUTSU KAISEN

EXPECTATIONS : 8/10

REALITY : 9.5/10

I don’t even have words for this. PEAK SHOUNEN. Waiting for S2 to slap every other new gen existing.

THE TIME I GOT REINCARNATED AS A SLIME

EXPECTATIONS : 7/10

REALITY : 8.6/10

I had a much lower expectations from this one but this turned out to be one of my favorites. Voice actors killed it.

HAIKYUU

EXPECTATIONS : 7.5/10

REALITY : 8.8/10

I thought this one is just another overrated shit. Oh boy, I WAS WRONG. It’s the best sports anime in my list.

RE : ZERO

EXPECTATIONS : 7.7/10

REALITY : 8.7/10

This is the probably the best Isekai I’ve ever watched. And also the most depressing one. PEAK FICTION.

VIOLET EVERGARDEN

EXPECTATIONS : 8.6/10

REALITY : 9.9/10

No anime can ever surpass this one’s place in my heart. I never had and never will rate any anime higher than this one.
