Though there isn’t much difference between my expected ratings and my actual ratings, this movie still somehow amazed me as I was not expecting this level of visually pleasing animation. UFOTABLE’S done it again.

Makoto Shinkai never fails to amaze me with his works. This movie is a perfect example of bittersweet, atmospheric, uplifting yet somehow a little sad movie. You should definitely check it out.
5 CENTIMETERS PER SECOND
EXPECTATIONS : 7.2/10
REALITY : 7.9/10
This isn’t some fairy princess love story where everyone is happy at the end. This shows what happens in reality. We fell in love not realising how important it is unless we lose it and how time and distance makes fun of your love. MASTERPIECE.
TO THE FOREST OF FIREFLY LIGHTS

How could a movie short, be so fully packed of feelings. If you’re in for something short but MEANINGFUL, this 45 minute movie will let you in on an extraordinary love between a human and a supernatural being.
