This is a new series in which I talk about some of the anime news of this week. Let’s see what we have today.
1. KOMI CAN’T COMMUNICATE LIVE ACTION SERIES BEGINS SEPT 6
Komi Can’t Communicate manga is getting a live action adaption as well as an anime adaption. Live action series will have 8 episodes. Anime adaption is scheduled for Oct 6.
2. MAPPA WILL HIRE NEW ANIMATORS FOR CHAINSAW MAN
Studio Mappa will hire new animators and train them for Chainsaw Man anime adaption. Starting salary will be $2102/month with pension and insurance provided. Contract will be for 2 years.
3. I WANT TO HAVE S€X WITH MINAMI EVEN IF SHE’S AN IDOL GETS ANIME
Suiseisha announced that the adult manga will have an anime adaptation as part of the project ComicFesta Anime. The censored and uncensored version will premier or Oct 3.
4. TOKYO REVENGERS BEAT ATTACK ON TITAN FOR HIGHEST SALES RECORD
Tokyo Revengers broke Attack on Titan’s record for the highest manga sales in 1 year. In 2021, Tokyo Revengers have currently sold 16.5 million copies breaking previous record of 15.9 million copies sold.
5. RECORD OF RAGNAROK SEASON 2 OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED
A second season is currently in production, according to an announcement made by the show’s official Japanese Twitter account. Despite the backlash, season 1 was successful on Netflix.
6. MUSHOKU TENSEI 2ND COUR SCHEDULED FOR OCT 3
“Mushoku Tensei : Jobless Reincarnation” second cour is scheduled for October 2021.

It probably doesn’t say much for me that the only news I care about here is the “I want to have sex with an idol” anime announcement. Still very much looking forward to the Komi anime, but I can leave the live-action stuff generally speaking.

Yeah you can leave the live one because, tbh, live adaptions doesn’t work well imo. I’m also not going to watch that.
